Summer Postseason Finals were fire!
The end of the summer season was very cool, or fire, depending on which generation is speaking and listening I guess. The Summer 2026 season is in the books! After six weeks of close and exciting regular season play, our three divisions crowned their playoff champions on Sunday, July 26. Congratulations to Switch (DUPR 12 Open), Sweet & Sour Slammers (DUPR 14 Open), and SMASH East Bay (DUPR 14 50+) on their championship wins, and to all the gold, silver, and bronze partner medal winners. Check out the full results on the Standings and Hall of Fame pages. Fall 2026 registration opens August 9 — see you on the courts!

The schedule on the website now includes the full postseason schedule for July 19 and July 26.

There will be no matches scheduled by the League for Sunday, July 5th.
New Rules for Summer Season 2026
New rules for Summer Season 2026 include no time limits on games, larger rosters, and postseason eligibility.
Post Season Playoff/Championships for Inaugural Season have been completed!
The DUPR 12 Open Division and DUPR 12 50+ Division took place on Sunday, April 26 at Castro Park, and the Championship and 3rd Place matches took place on Sunday May 3, at Ocean View Park. The DUPR 14 Open Division playoffs took place on Sunday, May 3, at Ocean View Park, and the Championship and 3rd Place matches took place on Sunday May 10 at Ocean View Park.
50+ DUPR Ratings To Be Used for 50+ Division Eligibility Calculations!
As of April 2026, DUPR has introduced age-based ratings for 50+ and 65+ players to provide more specific performance metrics for seniors, alongside subscores for mixed doubles and career-high tracking. These new features allow players to track progress and see their performance within specific, age-gated, or format-specific events.

Opening Day featured nail-biting tiebreaker finishes in all four DUPR 14 Division matches!
Gameplay Format for Regular Season Matches
Based on our experience experimenting with different formats in the preseason, the format for regular season games has been established. A match will consist of 8 regular games and a tiebreaker if the two teams split the 8 regular games 4-4.
Inaugural Season to Begin Sunday, March 22, 2026!
The inaugural season of the East Bay Team Pickleball League will begin Sunday, March 22, 2026. Most matches will be held on Sundays between the hours of 10 am and 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm and 3 pm at Ocean View Park in Albany or between the hours of 12:30 pm and 3 pm or 3 pm and 5:30 pm at Castro Park in El Cerrito.
Inaugural Spring 2026 Season To Be Preceded By "Preseason Friendlies"!
The inaugural Spring 2026 Season will begin Sunday, March 22, at Ocean View Park in Albany! The start of the spring season is being preceded by a series of preseason matches to be held the first three Sundays of March: 3/1, 3/8, and 3/15. Team signups for the preseason matches are open now on dailypb.com.
