By League Admin  |  April 17, 2026

Post Season Playoff/Championships for Inaugural Season are all set! The DUPR 12 Open Division and DUPR 12 50+ Division playoffs will take place on Sunday, April 26 at Castro Park, and the Championship and 3rd Place matches will take place on Sunday May 3, at Ocean View Park. The DUPR 14 Open Division playoffs will take place on Sunday, May 3, at Ocean View Park, and the Championship and 3rd Place matches will take place on Sunday May 10 at Ocean View Park.

DUPR 12 Open and DUPR 12 50+ Divisions

The postseason playoff matches for the DUPR 12 Open and DUPR 12 50+ divisions will take place on Sunday, April 26, at Castro Park in El Cerrito. The match to decide 3rd place and the championship match will take place on Sunday, May 3 at Ocean View Park in Albany.

Since both DUPR 12 divisions had 5 teams, each team played every other team once in 4 regular season matches and each team had one bye week. The format for the playoff and championship matches for these two divisions will be a Single Elimination tournament with Seeding Advantage.

The 4th and 5th place teams will meet first in a Play-in match at 12:30 pm. The loser of the Play-in match is eliminated and the winner moves on to the Semifinals at 3 pm. In the Semifinals, the 2nd place team plays the 3rd place team, and the 1st place team plays the winner of the Play-in match.

The Finals will take place the following Sunday, May 3 at Ocean View Park beginning at 12 pm. Each match will consist of the same number of games and potential tiebreaker as the regular season matches. However, a full 4 hours, 12 - 4 pm, have been reserved so that the Finals will not have time-limited games. The Championship and 3rd Place matches will be played on courts 5 and 6 (the tennis court) to accommodate spectators as well as players without sideline interference.

DUPR 14 Open Division

The DUPR 14 Open division had 8 teams that were split into two pools or brackets for the regular season. Each team played every other team twice (once as the Home team and once as the Away team) in their bracket, with the last regular season games scheduled for Sunday, April 26 at Castro Park.

The format for the playoff and championship matches for this division will be an 8-Team Classic Crossover tournament with all 8 teams participating. On Sunday, May 3, the Semifinals will take place at Ocean View Park beginning at 12 pm. The 1st place finisher from Bracket A will play the 2nd place finisher from Bracket B, and the 1st place finisher from Bracket B will play the 2nd place finisher from Bracket A.

The Finals will take place on Sunday, May 10 at Ocean View Park beginning at 12 pm. As with the other divisions, each match will consist of the same number of games and potential tiebreaker as the regular season matches, but without time limits. The Championship and 3rd Place matches will be played on courts 3 and 4. Non-playing team members and spectators are asked to congregate on the tennis court side of the fence adjacent to these courts to avoid interference.

Consolation matches will also be played to decide 5th and 7th place finishers for the Division. The 5th place match will be played between the 3rd place finsihers in the two regular season brackets. The 7th place match will be played between the 4th place finishers on the regular season brackets.

Since the Consolation matches are not dependent on the outcomes of the SemiFinal matches, they may be played on either the playoff Sunday or Championship Sunday. The choice will be left to the teams finishing the regular season in 3rd and 4th places in the two brackets.
