A Note on Partner Standings

By League Admin  |  August 3, 2026

We recently corrected how partner standings are calculated. Previously, games where the opposing team used a substitute player were incorrectly excluded from a pair's record. That's now fixed, and as a result several Summer 2026 medal positions in the Hall of Fame have been updated. We apologize for the inconvenience and congratulate the pairs whose standings improved with the correction.

A Note on Partner Standings

We recently made an improvement to how partner standings are calculated on our website, and as a result some standings have shifted — including a few medal positions in the Summer 2026 Hall of Fame.

Previously, our system excluded a game from both pairs' records whenever a substitute player was used in that game — even if only one side had a sub. That meant that if your regular partner pair played and won against a team that happened to be using a sub, that win wasn't being counted in your standings. That wasn't fair to you, and we're sorry for the oversight.

We've now corrected the logic so that each pair's record is only affected if that pair used a sub. If the opposing team used a sub, your results still count.

As a result, the following Summer 2026 partner standings and Hall of Fame medals have been updated:

DUPR 12 Open — Women's Doubles

🥈 2nd Place: Maria Elgueta & Nathalie Bogatirsky
🥉 3rd Place: Judy Tan & Connie Yip

DUPR 14 Open — Mixed Doubles

🥉 3rd Place: Sophia Ladyzhensky & Christian Rhodes

DUPR 14 50+ — Men's Doubles

🥈 2nd Place: Christopher Wong & Wayne Chin
🥉 3rd Place: Eric Waldschmidt & Timothy Lo

Congratulations to all the pairs whose standings improved with this correction, and our apologies to anyone whose position changed as a result. The updated standings and Hall of Fame are now live on the website.
