Summer Postseason Finals were fire!
The end of the summer season was very cool, or fire, depending on which generation is speaking and listening I guess. The Summer 2026 season is in the books! After six weeks of close and exciting regular season play, our three divisions crowned their playoff champions on Sunday, July 26. Congratulations to Switch (DUPR 12 Open), Sweet & Sour Slammers (DUPR 14 Open), and SMASH East Bay (DUPR 14 50+) on their championship wins, and to all the gold, silver, and bronze partner medal winners. Summer 2026 Season Wrap-Up — What a Season!
The Summer 2026 season of the East Bay Team Pickleball League is officially in the books, and what a season it was! From the opening matches on June 7 through the playoff finals on July 26, players across all three divisions brought their A-game week after week, treating everyone to some of the most competitive and entertaining pickleball we've seen yet.
Regular Season Recap
Over regular season play, teams battled it out in the DUPR 12 Open, DUPR 14 Open, and DUPR 14 50+ divisions. Across the board, matches were close, competitive, and a whole lot of fun — exactly what community team pickleball is all about. Whether you were playing or watching from the sidelines, there was always a lot of laughter and cheering going on!
Playoff Results
Semifinals were held on July 19 for DUPR 14 Open and 50+ divisions (July 19 for DUPR 12 division), setting the stage for a dramatic Finals Day on July 26. Here's how it all shook out:

Special congratulations to Sweet & Sour Slammers in the DUPR 14 Open and SMASH East Bay in the DUPR 14 50+ — both teams came into the playoffs as the #2 and #3 seeds respectively and played their way to championship glory. Their wins are a testament to just how evenly matched the competition was all season long. In this league, any team can beat any team on any given day, and the playoffs proved it!
Partner Standings
In addition to the team competition, our partner standings tracked individual doubles pairs throughout the season across Women's, Men's, and Mixed Doubles.
