Welcome. I am your host, Michael Strait. This General category of the Community Board is replacing the General group previously operated on WhatsApp. The Community Board is much more user-friendly than WhatsApp for our purposes. No separate account or app or registration process. And most importantly, participants can see and read the entire history of any conversation.
So this is the place to engage and become part of the community. Read what others are asking or reporting and ask your own questions and contribute your own answers or opinions.
WhatsApp is great for direct messaging with friends, family, and professional contacts you already have in your contacts and whose phone numbers you recognize. But it is not a great platform for building a community. It is not great for casual persistent conversations.
For those that want more of a test-messaging app experience, I have created a Discord server. Any information of value to everyone that may emerge on the Discord server will be copied to the appropriate category on the Community Board and/or be added to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of this website, so do not feel like you might miss some important information by not using the Discord server.
The Discord server will replace WhatsApp as the place for Team Captains to discuss issues and propose rule changes, but I will not close down the WhatsApp Captains Corner until I am certain that all Team Captains that have participated in that group have successfully migrated to Discord.
